In this module, you will understand the changes happening to your body towards the end of pregnancy and how you can deal with them effectively.
Module 3: Preparation for Childbirth
In this module, you will learn all about how to plan and prepare for your birth. You will get to know your options in German hospitals, set up your logistics plan and find out what papers.
Module 4: The First Stages of Childbirth
In this module, you will get a good overview of the different stages of labor. You will learn how to identify the first signs of labor, understand the nature of contractions, and the process of a birth and possible deviations.
Module 5: The Delivery Stage
This module prepares you to actually deliver your baby. You will learn how exactly the final birth process goes and what you can do to facilitate it. You will also learn about the birth of the placenta and what is done right after birth with the umbilical cord and examinations.
Module 6: Your Personal Birth Plan
Now, that you know all you need to know about birth, it’s time to plan your own. Lois coaches you through specific questions that will enable you to create an elaborate, well thought through birth plan.
Module 7: Becoming Parents
This module is on you becoming a mother and becoming parents. Lois addresses expectations, anticipation and insecurities and helps you to set loving intentions.
Module 8: Postpartum Practical Care
This module helps you to understand your needs as a new mother after birth. You will learn about the changes in your body and your mind and how to best support your postpartum phase.
Module 9: First Weeks with your Baby
This module prepares you for the first tasks with your baby: changing diapers, breastfeeding, hygiene and sleeping.

Lois Erhart – Midwife
Lois is a mom of two and a certified midwife, she assisted births in a in a natural setting since 2017.
During her work as a midwife she focuses on reproductive justice, sex positivity, and queer care. She is specialized in birth preparation, emotional first aid, Bereavement management, home births, homeopathy, kinesio taping and counseling for miscarriages.
"I completed my midwife training in Germany in a big Level 1 hospital and therefore have experience in every birthing environment. Birthing wards, c section rooms, birthing centers and homebirth. On top of that I've cared for mothers in special psychiatric wards and supported them with their babies postpartum. Which basically means that it can provide for all families and babies, even those in serious situations."
